Quran Memorization (Hifz)

Quran Memorization (Hifz)

Memorize the Quran with Confidence, Consistency & Proper Tajweed

Memorizing the Holy Quran is a beautiful and rewarding journey that requires dedication, patience, consistency, and the right guidance.

At Hashmi Quran Academy, we provide personalized online Quran Memorization (Hifz) classes for children and adults. Our one-to-one classes allow the teacher to focus completely on the individual student’s memorization, recitation, pronunciation, and revision.

Whether you want to begin memorizing the Quran from the beginning, memorize selected Surahs, complete Juz Amma, continue previously started Hifz, or revise portions you have already memorized, our teachers can help you follow a structured and manageable learning plan.

What Is Hifz Quran?

Hifz means memorizing the Quran by heart.

Quran memorization is not simply about learning new verses. A successful Hifz journey also requires continuous revision so that previously memorized portions remain strong.

That is why our Hifz classes balance new memorization with regular revision and Tajweed correction. A structured approach based on new lessons, recent revision, and older revision is widely used to support long-term retention.

Our Quran Memorization Program

Every student has different abilities, learning speeds, school or work commitments, and memorization goals.

Instead of giving every student the same target, we encourage a personalized approach based on the student’s:

  • Age
  • Current Quran reading level
  • Previous memorization
  • Daily availability
  • Memorization ability
  • Revision capacity
  • Individual goals

The teacher can gradually increase or adjust the memorization target as the student develops.

Sabaq, Sabqi & Manzil

A strong Hifz program needs a proper revision system. Our memorization approach can be organized around three important stages:

1. Sabaq – New Lesson

Sabaq is the new portion of the Quran that the student is learning and memorizing.

The teacher helps the student read the new portion correctly, understand the reading pattern, memorize it, and recite it from memory.

The amount of new memorization depends on the student’s ability rather than simply trying to memorize as much as possible.

2. Sabqi – Recent Revision

Sabqi refers to the revision of recently memorized portions.

Regularly reviewing recent lessons helps strengthen the student’s memory and prevents newly memorized material from being forgotten.

Students recite their recent memorization to the teacher, who listens carefully and corrects mistakes.

3. Manzil – Previous Memorization

Manzil is the systematic revision of older portions that the student has already memorized.

This part is especially important for long-term retention. As the memorized portion becomes larger, students need a consistent revision routine to keep previously memorized Surahs and Juz strong.

Quran Memorization with Tajweed

Memorizing the Quran should go hand in hand with correct recitation.

Our teachers can correct pronunciation and Tajweed mistakes while students are memorizing, helping them avoid memorizing verses with incorrect pronunciation.

Students can work on:

  • Makharij
  • Correct pronunciation
  • Basic Tajweed rules
  • Madd
  • Ghunnah
  • Qalqalah
  • Waqf and Ibtida
  • Recitation fluency

The exact Tajweed instruction is adapted to the student’s current level.

Hifz for Kids

Our online Hifz classes are designed to help children develop a consistent Quran memorization routine while balancing their school, homework, family activities, and other responsibilities.

Children receive individual attention from the teacher and can progress according to their ability.

Our teachers can help children develop:

  • Regular memorization habits
  • Strong revision habits
  • Correct Quran pronunciation
  • Better concentration
  • Confidence in recitation
  • Love and connection with the Quran
  • Consistency in daily practice

Parents can also stay informed about their child’s learning progress.

Hifz for Adults

It is never too late to begin or continue memorizing the Quran.

Our online Hifz classes are also suitable for adults who want to memorize the Quran alongside their work, family, and other responsibilities.

Adults can choose a realistic pace according to their available time and personal goals.

Whether you want to memorize a few Surahs, Juz Amma, continue incomplete Hifz, or work toward complete Quran memorization, the program can be adapted to your circumstances.

Memorization for Beginners

Students do not necessarily need to have previous Hifz experience.

However, students should have an appropriate level of Quran reading ability before starting substantial memorization.

If a beginner needs to improve their Quran reading or pronunciation first, they may benefit from starting with Noorani Qaida or Quran Reading with Tajweed before moving into a full Hifz program.

This helps establish accurate reading habits before memorization begins.

Continue Your Existing Hifz

Have you already memorized part of the Quran but stopped?

You can continue your Hifz journey with us.

Our teachers can assess your existing memorization, identify areas that need revision, and help you create a structured plan for continuing from where you stopped.

This can be especially helpful for students who have:

  • Previously memorized several Surahs
  • Completed some Juz
  • Started Hifz but discontinued
  • Forgotten parts of their previous memorization
  • Weak portions that need strengthening

Hifz Revision & Muraja’ah

Memorization does not end when a student completes a portion.

Muraja’ah (revision) is an essential part of maintaining previously memorized Quran.

Students can receive dedicated revision support to improve:

  • Memory retention
  • Recitation fluency
  • Accuracy
  • Confidence
  • Weak portions
  • Long-term memorization

For students who have already memorized the Quran, our classes can focus primarily on revision and strengthening their recitation.

One-to-One Online Hifz Classes

Our Hifz classes are conducted individually, allowing the teacher to focus entirely on one student.

During a one-to-one lesson, the teacher can:

  • Listen to the student’s recitation
  • Identify memorization mistakes
  • Correct pronunciation
  • Review previous lessons
  • Introduce new memorization
  • Adjust the student’s learning pace
  • Provide individual feedback

This personalized attention can be particularly useful when a student needs additional help with difficult portions.

Flexible Online Learning

Online Hifz classes allow students to learn from the comfort of their own home.

Our flexible scheduling can make Quran memorization easier to manage alongside:

  • School
  • University
  • Work
  • Family responsibilities
  • Other studies
  • Daily activities

Students can follow a learning routine that is realistic for their circumstances.
